Manchester United have to pay €40 million (£34.5 million) plus add-ons for Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard in the summer transfer window, according to . Pavard is keen on leaving Bayern and wants to join former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners United.
The Red Devils have been in talks with Bayern over a deal for Pavard. United are ready to pay €35m (£30m) for the France international defender, but Bayern are looking for €40 million (£34.5 million) plus add-ons. Pavard is not happy with the Bundesliga champions’ stance and has already personal terms in principle with United.
Pavard has been on the books of Bayern since 2019 and has won the Bundesliga title four time and the UEFA Champions League once during his time at the Allianz Arena so far. The defender also won the 2018 World Cup with France and helped his team reach the final of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
